About the Owners — Madison and Frank
We are the Christophers, and the Third Coast Hideaway is our family’s southwest Lake Michigan dream vacation home, found summer 2019. It took over 3 years of weekend trips to find TCH. It is Madison’s happy place, and it is incredibly important to us that we answer all your questions and replace worries with excitement before you book. Why Madison Chose Douglas
We looked up and down the southwest coast — New Buffalo, Union Pier, St. Joseph, Three Oaks, South Haven, Holland and more. Three years of road trips finally led us to Saugatuck-Douglas. The energy, the people, the atmosphere felt perfect. Then Madison stepped onto the screened-in porch, with gardens and fountains and birds chirping and incredible light, and said “This is a sanctuary.”
